Architect/Head of AI Competency
Data Scientist : AUG 2016 - APR 2020
I lead critical Big Data analysis, mapping, and visualization initiatives with significant financial and security impacts for large clients. I establish, supervise, train, and mentor data analytics teams. Additionally, I build frameworks, models, algorithms, and databases, including state-of-the-art tools for dashboard automation and geospatial mapping, for applications in fraud detection and prediction and consumer spending behavior. I also manage internal and client stakeholder collaboration and provide reports and recommendations to C-level leadership.
First Data Corporation
Worked as a Data Scientist for FDC(Client).
I helmed a Big Data and geospatial analytics and mapping initiative on credit card usage. I established and managed an offshore data analytics team. I also architected a Big Data analytics platform with 80 billion records utilizing Hadoop and Vertica. Additionally, I developed cohort analysis algorithms and wrote custom queries using SQL and Hive for complex data cleaning and analysis and automated coverage dashboards. Further, I conducted descriptive and inferential analytics of credit card transactions as well as spend trend and event-based analytics.
Cygnus Professionals INC.
I taught courses on Decision Science for future Data Scientists, to include data preparation and cleaning; univariate, bivariate, and multivariate regression; linear regression model; generalized linear regression model; principal component analysis; BI and visualization using Tableau, Excel, R, and ArcGIS; and dashboard creation.
Group for the Protection, Study, and Monitoring of the Environment (GPSME)
I led a study entitled “Assessing willingness to pay for improved solid waste management in the Dominican Republic.” I analyzed and synthesized data from primary research, reviewed literature, and identified historical trends. Additionally, I produced descriptive results with data visualizations using analytical tools including IBM SPSS, SAS JMP, Stata, and ArcGIS.

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
I participated as the second lead for a study entitled “The Feasibility Study on The Development of Dedicated Multimodal High Axle Load Freight Corridor with Computerized Control for Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah in India.” I monitored findings and prepared a detailed scientific report.
UNICEF/Bihar education Project Council, Government Of Bihar, India
I developed strategies to institute the SSHE program in more than 5,000 schools in Bihar, India in coordination with state and district agencies for sanitation, health, engineering, and public relations as well as UNICEF and several NGOs. I managed a $200,000 (USD) budget to facilitate construction of more than 1,000 toilets in schools. I also established data collection methods for information on education, sanitation, health, and hygiene of students and instructors. Additionally, I built an online data reporting and monitoring system to support ongoing implementations and improvements, including updates to the online portal of India’s Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation. I designed and prepared reports for review meetings and updates as well as program evaluation and impact assessments. I also created training modules and materials for teachers and students and shared best practices with local communities.
A.N. College
I collaborated on UNICEF’s flagship project “Assessing and Mapping Groundwater Arsenic Contamination of Bihar, India,” leading a team of 16 in testing public hand pumps for contamination in more than 50 villages throughout Bihar, India. I developed the project proposal under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. I also created a state-level data repository, established laboratories at the district level, and trained engineers. Additionally, I devised quantitative and qualitative data collection formats and household surveys. I created and standardized analytical methods and chemical inventory. I also marked tested sources, prepared field maps, and educated local communities on arsenic contamination and safety.
Center for Integrated Development (CIDEV)
I collaborated with field staff on natural resource and waste management projects, administering surveys on environment and sanitation. I also trained local professionals and communities on water quality, sanitation, and vermicomposting.
